T-Coil System in Sanctuary
Ross of Kenwood Hearing Center has fixed the wiring of our T-Coil system. This means that those of us with T-Coil compatible hearing aids can now hear people who are using our Sanctuary's microphones directly in our hearing aids, in addition to the sound coming from the buildings speakers.
The Secret Santa tree is up in Stevenson Hall for the second year at St. Patricks. Please open your heart and select a heart or two to fulfill a modest wish for a child, a young adult, and yes even a lonely senior citizen. Each heart represents a member of our community who is experiencing difficulties that a warm pair of slippers, a small toy or even a gift card will make their Christmas better.
Place your wrapped gift back under the tree no later than December 15th. A team of St. Patrick's elves will deliver your gifts to the Volunteer Center.
PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO PEAL OFF LABLE AND ATTACH TO PACKAGE.
Return hearts to basket in Stevenson Hall near the Christmas tree.
Gratefully, The Outreach Committee

** Would Like Your Help This
You can donate to the Holiday Meat Program in a couple of ways. As we are all aware our local G & G Markets has been purchased by Safeway and will be closing the stores as of December 1st. G & G has been a key donor to F.I.S.H., providing a greatly reduced price and in some cases a straight donation of the holiday meat that is provided to families in our community. There is no indication that F.I.S.H. will be able to expect that participation for the December program. As a result, if anyone is interested in a monetary donation to the Holiday Meat Program please choose one of the following options that best works:
1. Write a check to St. Patrick’s: Outreach for Holiday Meat
Write a check to F.I.S.H. of Santa Rosa marked for Holiday Meat. Mail to F.I.S.H. PO Box 4291 Santa Rosa, Ca 95402
For a convent electronic donation, use the F.I.S.H web site: http://stpatkenwood.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=dca7290da4d112fb71478288b&id=11182ad9f6&e=bb9cca279b

Advent Class in Two sessions
Presented by Laurie Boone Hogen
A brief introduction to Christian Art in two sessions
Session One will begin with the changing images of Christ found in the art from the 3^rd Century through the Renaissance including the signs and symbols used to illustrate the Christian beliefs beginning with the Annunciation through the Flight into Egypt.
Session Two will tell the Christmas Story through works of art from the Metropolitan Museum of Art taken from the Gospels of Matthew and Luke.
Participants are encouraged to attend both sessions to get the most out of the meaning behind the Christian beliefs surrounding the Christmas story and the beauty of the art.
Each session will use slides of various works of art to illustrate the meaning of the symbols that also reflect the changing historic periods. Handouts will be available. Each session will be 45 minutes long with Q and A following for 15 minutes.
The dates are:
Session One: Sunday, December 4 at 9:15-10:15 repeated on
Wednesday, December 7 at 11:00.
Session Two: Wednesday, December 14 at 11:00. Only one session!
Please let the office know if you are coming and which dates so that we have proper set up. Thank you.

** Standing Rock
A few of weeks ago on Sunday Jen preached about Standing Rock. There was a call for clergy and ministers to get to Standing Rock by Thursday. Jen couldn't go, due to Diocesan Convention.Miriam Casey and Kendall Brown went to be in Standing Rock and join the 540+ ministers who showed our presence and solidarity.
We already have a few supporters for their pilgrimage. You can contribute support to their trip, speak with Jen.
